Council approved closure of 100 - 300 block of Kinchant Street, from Carson Avenue to St. Laurent Avenue on Sunday, June 11, 2023 between 12:20 p.m. - 1 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. - 2 p.m., for the Line of Duty death procession of Lieutenant Brian Morgan, who was an active volunteer firefighter for the Quesnel Fire Department and the City of Quesnel for 29 years from 1991 - 2020.
