The Billy Barker Days restart totally crashed, on the first night. And that was a good thing. While the daytime crowds at LeBourdais Park were light, due mostly to the wildfire smoke, the place was packed at Gold Pan Speedway to take in the always exciting Crash To Pass event. There was a record number of cars on the start line, and only Justin Price at the finish line, when all the other vehicles got literally run off the road. It was a welcome return to action for the auto enthusiasts – and fans of the rough and tumble – so please enjoy the array of photos taken by Tracey Roberts of the Quesnel Cariboo Observer in this gallery celebrating the bang and rattle of Quesnel drivers putting on a good bash.
