Traffic is now flowing in both directions.

UPDATE:

Cpl. Madonna Saunderson with the North District RCMP has confirmed that a semi-trailer truck carrying lumber flipped on Highway 97 near Trudeau Road. The incident was reported at 10:45 a.m.

“I do not have any causal factors,” explained Cpl. Saunderson. Saunderson told the Observer she would update on whether or not anyone was injured in the incident once she heard more from the investigators at the scene.

Drive BC is reporting that a vehicle incident 26.8 kilometres north of McLeese Lake, near Alexandria, has reduced traffic on Highway 97 to single-lane alternating.

A witness at the scene says the incident involves a lumber truck, and a tow truck is attending from Williams Lake.
