The Bouchie Lake Volunteer Fire Department, Quesnel RCMP and local ambulance services attended a single vehicle incident on Nazko Highway Sunday Sept. 9 at around 10:25 a.m.
The vehicle was driving towards the city of Quesnel when it crossed into the oncoming lane and went off the road, driving through a fence and trees and eventually ending up in the yard of a local residence, according to responders at the scene.
The Observer was told that the lone driver suffered some injuries.
“[The driver] was in the passenger side when I arrived on scene, but was the driver,” says Bouchie Lake Fire Department chief Jeff Lefebvre.
The volunteer fire department attended with about eight firefighters.
More to come.
