Snow, sleet and rain predicted until Friday

Quesnel has snow and sleet or rain in store in the next few days, according to Environment Canada.

The city will see snow overnight tonight (Nov. 14) according to the forecast, with snow or rain predicted Thursday, with a high of 3 degrees Celsius. Environment Canada says Quesnel could receive up to 5 cm of snow on Thursday.

Overnight flurries may also be seen overnight Thursday, although these may be just rain showers at lower elevations, with clouds clearing around midnight.

Environment Canada predicts a low of -7 tomorrow night.

The remainder of the week should see sunny skies with temperatures hovering between -3 and 3 degrees Celsius, and overnight lows as cold as -9. Precipitation is not currently forecast after Thursday night.
