Public input is needed to help organizers, municipal leaders, funding partners and the creative industry to understand the impacts of the Quesnel arts and culture scene.
The Quesnel Arts Council is spearheading an exhaustive information gathering campaign. Specialist consultant company Nordicity is doing the outreach and information gathering work. The campaign is called the Study of the Financial Impact of the Arts on the North Cariboo.
Nordicity is hosting two important meetings to survey the public’s thoughts on the arts scene in Quesnel. Attending one or both is eagerly encouraged for all those involved in or with thoughts about the culture of the city, the state of the arts, the economic impact of the arts, how the city should invest in or otherwise support the arts, and any topic of that nature.
Both meetings are at the Arts & Rec Centre located at 500 North Star Road.
Meeting 1: Aug 9, 6:30-8 p.m. in the West Fraser Timber Room
Meeting 2: Aug. 10, 1-3 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room
