Traffic is still flowing along Highway 97 inside Quesnel, albeit slowly.

Vehicles are only able to move one at a time past a three-vehicle collision on the Quesnel River Bridge. One person was taken to hospital after the crash.

Traffic control is on scene, taking turns to lead northbound and southbound trains of vehicles safely past the crash site. The collision took place on the north side of the bridge, with traffic at times backing up into downtown Quesnel.

The route has seen extra traffic as the Johnston Bridge Loop is closed due to flooding.
