Voices raised for Quesnel’s festival performances

Vocal & Choral component of QPAF now underway

The Quesnel Festival of the Performing Arts is really singing now.

The Vocal & Choral aspect of the festival is underway. Soloists, duos, small groups, all the way through to full choirs are powering up the most organic instrument of all, their human voices.

These are competitive performances all taking place at Maple Park Alliance Church (2075 Balsam Avenue) in front of adjudicator Fabiana Katz, a professional singer and teacher of musical voice.

Write in your entertainment calendars, also, that the piano component of the festival is coming up April 12-14 also at Maple Park Alliance Church.

These performances are assessed for festival rankings, prizes that may be won, and berths in the provincial performing arts festival coming up later this spring in Penticton.

Admission is by donation.
