According to government weather website Environment Canada, Quesnel should finally have some snowfall in store this evening (Dec. 10).

Periods of snow are predicted in the area late this evening, with up to five centimetres predicted to fall before morning, and a low of -4 degrees Celsius. The wind chill could be as low as -12.

There’s also a 60 per cent chance of wet flurries tomorrow morning and early afternoon (Dec. 11), with the temperature predicted to warm to a high of 3 degrees over the course of the day.

However, the snow may not stick around, with warmer temperatures forecast for the remainder of the week, and a 40 per cent chance of rain showers on Friday.
