Application for permit 100229 Under The Provisions of the Environmental Management Act
We, Pinnacle Renewable Energy Inc. (part of Drax), 543 Granville St, Vancouver, B.C., V6C 1X8, intend to submit this application to the Director to authorize the discharge of air emissions from a pellet facility. The source of discharge is a destoner cyclone.
The land upon which the facility will be situated and the discharge will occur is Part 1 SE District Lot 3193 Land District 05, located at/ on/near 41880 Highway 97 North, within the North Caribou Regional District.
The maximum rate of air emissions discharged from this facility will be 83.58 m3/s (14.15 m3/s from destoner cyclone). The operating period for this facility will be 24hrs/day, 365/year. The characteristics of the air emissions discharge from the destoner cyclone are as follows: total particulate matter (TPM) 60 mg/m3, loading of TPM 3.06 kg/hr. The type of treatment to be applied to the discharge is: cyclone.
Any person who may be adversely affected by the proposed discharge of waste and wishes to provide relevant information may, within 30 days after the last date of posting, publishing, service or display, send written comments to the applicant, with a copy to the Regional Director, Environmental Protection at 325 1011, 4th Ave, Prince George, B.C., V2L 3H9. The identity of any respondents and the contents of anything submitted in relation to this application will become part of the public record.
