Public Hearings August 18th and August 25th, 2023
In-Person public hearing to be held August 18th, 11 am – 12:00 pm PDT at Quesnel City Hall (Baker Creek Room) regarding development plans for a soil disposal facility in Nazko, BC.
CanLava Mining Corp. is applying to develop a soil disposal facility in Nazko BC, adjacent to the current CanLava Mining Corp. lava rock quarry. The footprint for the facility is proposed to be located about 12 km west of the community of Nazko, BC. This public hearing will include a brief presentation to go over the plans, design, and environmental and community considerations of the facility, followed by a half hour period for questions. Some refreshments will be provided.

For those unable to attend the hearing on August 18th, 2023, an additional virtual hearing will be held on August 25th at 2:00 pm PDT. The virtual event will be held over Microsoft Teams with the link provided above. Please allow for time to download/setup Microsoft Teams if you do not have the application.
