Dave was born in Vancouver on April 8, 1961 and passed away on April 27, 2007 at the age of 46 after a lengthy battle with brain cancer. He moved to Quesnel with his whole family in the early 1970’s and worked at the Billy Barker Casino in recent years. He is survived by his son: Christopher, parents: Ted & Arlene, brothers: Lance & Wes (Kendra), sisters: Theresa (Matt), Lisa & Wendy (Kevin), nephews: Adam, Brody, Steve & Brandon and nieces: Cloe & Ashlyn as well as many other family & friends.
We all loved Dave, we loved him for his brilliant mind, his excellent card-playing skills and his sarcastic wit. He was always keeping us on our toes. Dave accomplished so many things in the short time he was with us and impressed us more than he ever knew. We would like to thank all of our family and friends who sent food, flowers and their well wishes during this time.
A memorial tea was held for Dave on April 30th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Relay for Life in Dave’s memory.
