April 23, 1929 - October 25, 2020
The hardest thing for children to do, is announce with great heartache and sadness the passing of their father Albert (Guy) Crain. 04/23/29 - 10/25/20. Predeceased by his loving wife Lu Dean & son Kenneth, Dad passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side.
The last of his 6 siblings, dad leaves behind sons Melvin, Larry (Dianne), Steven (Judy), 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Married on May 27, 1950, mom & dad began their family in Teton, Idaho where they lived until the spring of 1961.
It was then they decided to move to Kenai, Alaska. After purchasing property and building a family home, Dad spent the next 6 years working the summers commercially fishing salmon, and the winters working on the oil rigs.
In 1967 mom and dad immigrated to Canada, purchasing a 640 acre ranch at Beaver Creek on Hydraulic Road. It was on this vast piece of property that they raised their family.
Once the boys had grown and moved on, mom & dad moved to Quesnel Lake where they enjoyed their retirement in the lake's solitude.
After Mom passed in 2014, dad moved back into town (Quesnel) to be closer to family. Although he is truly missed by his family and many friends, we take comfort knowing he is with Mom and his family members once again.
