July 4, 1944 - February 19, 2022
It is with great sadness the family regrets to announce the passing of Alfreda Irene Montgomery on February 19, 2022 at Dunrovin Park Lodge in Quesnel, BC.
Alfreda was born on July 4, 1944 at Kinistino, Sask. She travelled west with her family to Haney, BC. At the age of 10 she moved to Quesnel where she met the one and only love of her life, Richard Arnold Montgomery who she married on May 30, 1964.
She had a heart of gold and her home was always open to everyone. Everyone loved Freda and have a special place in their heart.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard, parents Alfred and Bella Isbister, sisters: Eileen Sprague, Dorothy Anderson, Rose VanVleet, Patricia Murray, brother Bill Isbister and granddaughter Natasha Montgomery.
Freda will be sadly missed by her sons: David (Louanne) Montgomery & Dean (Tracy) Montgomery, grandchildren: Melissa (Brodie) Thibault, Ryan Montgomery, Tyler (Katey) Montgomery and many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
A graveside memorial was held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2pm.
