Born on the family farm in Woodglen, Alberta on February 18, 1933, mum passed away peacefully in Quesnel, BC on May 16, 2020.
Alice is now in heaven dancing cheek to cheek with her beloved R.C. (Dick) Selzler.
Her parents, Julius and Sophie Martin and siblings moved to the Cariboo from Vancouver in 1950. Mum was one of nine in the first graduating class at the Quesnel High School. The family lived on a farm along Sister's Creek in Kersley for 2 years before returning to the Fraser Valley.
In 1953 she married Vic Lund, returned to Kersley where she lived for over 60 years. In 1970 she married Dick Selzler.
Mum was a long-time member of the Kersley Community Association. Mum loved to crochet, read and garden. She was a lifetime member of the Kersley Women's Institute and belonged to Beta Sigma Phi for many years.
Mum was pre-deceased by her parents Julius and Sophie Martin, sister Elenore Saunders and brother Ed Martin.
