A wife, a mother, a
grandma too,
This is the legacy we
have from you.
You taught us love and
how to fight,
You gave us strength,
you gave us might.
A stronger person
would be hard to fi nd,
And in your heart, you
were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or
another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to
rest.
So go in peace , you’ve
earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts,
we’ll eternally keep.
Anna (Lyne) Hegland
of Quesnel, B.C.
passed away on August
29, 2008.
A celebration of life was
held on Sept. 5 with
Father Normandeau
offi ciating. Anna was
interred at the Quesnel
and District Cemetery.
A tea was held at the
Legion Hall after the
service. Special thanks
to the Legion ladies
and Clayton’s Funeral
Home.
Anna was born on January 12, 1915
and lived in Quesnel for 71 years.
She is survived by her loving husband
Leiv Hegland, children; Nellie (Jack)
Scott, Margaret (Svend) Lyne Pedersen,
Jerry (Carol) Lyne
McNaughton, Irene
(Don) Durocher, Lanna
Lyne Bryant and
Patricia Lyne, and
many grandchildren
and great
grandchildren.
A donation in
Anna’s memory may
be made to the B.C.
Children’s Hospital.
