With both daughters by her side Anneliese Worthmann passed away quietly on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2008 at the G.R. Baker Hospital in Quesnel, B.C.
She was born December 27, 1920.
A memorial service was held on May 14, 2008 at the Quesnel Native Friendship Center.
Known by most as Oma, she leaves to mourn her daughters Ursula Birk and Judy (Bill) Lefebvre, grandchildren Nicole (Shane) Callihoo, Christopher (Erin) Birk, Victoria and Tyler Lefebvre, great grandchildren Brennen Callihoo, Ainsley and Keira Birk, as well as many foster children, foster grand and great grandchildren. She also leaves one brother Friedel Hoppe of Germany, numerous nieces and nephews to mourn her passing, very special friends, Nancy, Gloria, Pat and Ken.
Anneliese was predeceased by husband Henry, mother Auguste Hellwig, son-in-law James Birk, sister Herta Scheunemann, sister-in-law Emmy Hoppe.
