Annita Jane Love passed away peacefully on the night of Nov. 16, 2016 at the age of 97 at Dunrovin Park Lodge, where she was a resident since June, 2012.

Annita was born April 9, 1919 to Frank and Grace Hallett of Tomahawk, Alberta. She was introduced to hard work from an early age and used that ethic throughout her life...caring for her spotless home; raising her three children...the thundering herd; being dubbed ‘super waitress’ for her ability to carry up to seven dinner plates at a time; loved nice clothes and jewellery- often over-dressing for many occasions; playing cards with friends and achieving many 29 hands at crib; having a daily dose of Caramilk bars and bananas; entertaining friends and family and producing the best Yorkshire pudding EVER!! Annita’s family and friends were most important to her, and she and Ernie drove all over BC, AB and SK to visit them!!

Annita really hated the cold winters of Alberta and Central BC, so we knew when she saw those huge snowflakes falling again, she decided she was NOT spending another winter here in Quesnel. She will be greatly missed by her family but in our memories there will always be a story.

Annita was predeceased by her parents: Frank and Grace Hallett; her husbands: Tommy Woodcock in 1964 and Ernie Love in 2001; her son: Bert Woodcock in 2010; her daughter: Linda Hallett in 2013; her Hallett siblings: Tommy, Ray, Noel and Grace.

Annita is survived by her daughter: Helen (Doug) Jamieson of Quesnel, BC; son-in-law: Steve Zoobkoff (Linda); seven grandchildren: Bert’s: Karen, Tom, Sharon; Linda’s: Korrine; Helen’s: Paula, Colin, Lana; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings: Winnie, Angus and Frankie; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Annita will be interred in 2017 with her Woodcock family in Edson, AB. and also with her husband Ernie...location as yet to

be decided.
