Sep 3, 1931 - Nov 26, 2017
Antonio (Tony) Fuccenecco was born in Posina, Italy, in 1931. He immigrated to Canada in 1954.

He worked his way across Canada; first, for the railroad and then throughout central British Columbia in the forest industry ending up in Quesnel in 1961. Together with his wife, Gilda of 61 years, they raised their three daughters. In Quesnel, he worked for Weldwood Plywood Plant for over 30 years rarely missing a day.

He was an avid fisher, hunter, and gardener. His prized vegetable garden, fruit trees, and raspberry bushes were tended to dearly year in and year out until his passing. Tony passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. "Nonno" will be greatly missed by his wife, Gilda, his daughters Daniela (Eric), Trish (Branko), Tania (Kim), and the "apples" of his eye - grandchildren, Brynn, Kwynn, Sonny, Ali, and Jackson.

He is also survived by his three sisters, Cecilia, Maria, and Luciana (Lucy), and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Arturo.

We want to thank all our friends and neighbours for their kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time.

We also want to thank the doctors and nurses who looked after Tony.

In honour of Tony's wish for no service, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
