LILIENWEISS, Audrey Adele (nee Floyd) passed away on July 5, 2007 at Shuswap Lake General Hospital at the age of 71 years.
She was predeceased by her son Brian Edward Lilienweiss, parents Harold Stillman Floyd (1968) and Evelyn Floyd (1995), sisters; Francis Friesen, Marion Nielson, Joyce Cooper and Alma Johnston, brothers Dick Floyd and Doug Floyd, brothers in law Joe and Leo Lilienweiss, Pete Friesen and Ken Johnston and sisters in law Leona Remple and Myrtle Floyd. She is survived by her loving family: loving husband Morris Lilienweiss, children Denise (Leonard) Stanley, Adele (Steve Griffin) Lilienweiss and Maureen (Randy) Mayhew, grandchildren and step grandchildren Dale (Kristine) Givens, Amanda Givens, Dwayne, Eileen and Doug Stanley, Wilf Stuart-Scholfield Jr. and Shelby Charles Stuart-Scholfield, Tania (Dallas Cotter) Mayhew, Thomas Mayhew, great grandchildren Sierra and Kaleb Givens and Chase Cotter, siblings Dorothy (Gerry) May, Margaret (Rob) Elvidge, David (Marge) Floyd, Ramona Floyd, Rose Floyd, Vagn (Marie) Nielson, Jake (Sandy) Remple, Joyce Lilienweiss as well as MANY nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Audrey’s hobbies included a passion for gardening with a cold drink.
A celebration of life service was held on Saturday, July 14th, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. from Fischer’s Funeral Services with Pastor Myron Crown officiating. A reception will follow at the family residence in Silver Creek.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Audrey’s name may be made to Palliative Care, c/o Shuswap Hospital Foundation, Box 265, Salmon Arm, BC, V1E 4N3.
