The family of Beatrice Kilsby regrets to announce her passing. After a short stay in hospital, Bea passed away surrounded by family. She was four days short of her 90th birthday.
Beatrice was born in Almonte Ontario. She married Leonard Kilsby and shortly after moved to B.C. living for a short while in the Pemberton area. In 1955 they moved to Alexandria and later into Quesnel. Bea is survived by Leonard, her husband of 62 years; by their three children Donna Ponting (Quesnel), Arnold Kilsby (Quesnel), and Kelley Ann Laidlaw (Chattam Ont); five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and sister Jeanette McKenzie. At her request, no service will be held.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Quesnel Hospital for the compassion shown to Bea and her family during the time we spent there.
