Bernice Walker

Bernice Walker passed away peacefully in her sleep at Baker Lodge in Quesnel, B.C. at the age of 77 on March 2, 2006.

She is survived by her daughter Mary and husband Glen of Quesnel, her son Bill and wife Miriam of Terrace and daughter Ellen of Vernon. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Bernice was born on January 23, 1929 in St. Alexis’, Quebec, but spent most of the years before moving to B.C. in New Brunswick. She moved to B.C. in 1974. She spent one year in Quesnel, before moving to Vancouver for 12 years, but has spent the last 19 years in Quesnel.

Bernice was predeceased by her husband, Vance Stephen Walker on December 31, 1971. She was also predeceased by three children, daughter Pauline and twins Robert and Donald.

By Bernice’s request there will be no service, just a tea for family and close friends. Bernice’s final resting spot will be in New Brunswick with her husband.

Mom, Grandma you were loved in life and will always be remembered by family and friends. We will miss you. “Until we meet again.”
