It is with great sadness the family of Bert Ragis announces his passing after a brief illness.
Bert was born in Kircaldy, Scotland and baptized in the Anglican Church where he served as an Altar boy for many years.
He apprenticed as a cabinetmaker and served his 2 year National Service in the Royal Airforce.
Bert married Jean in 1951, and then in 1957 immigrated to Canada. Quesnel became home in 1963.
He worked for various contractors until his retirement in 1994.
Bert is survived by his wife Jean, daughters Pat (Chris) and Jane (Brad), four grandchildren; Lisa, Lynda, Curtis and Haley, five great grandchildren; Kyle, CJ, Devon, Cody and Xander.
He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
