Robert (Bob) Macham, 70, loving husband of Linda, beloved father to Val (Cam) and Jeff and Grandfather to Thomas, Olivia, Maddy and Rita, passed away peacefully on March 13/2013, surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for and loved.
Bob was born in Victoria, B.C. On July 7/1942 to Gordon and Gladys Macham. After finishing his schooling he enlisted in the army where he served in Europe. After his enlistment, Bob met his neighbours niece Linda. Bob and Linda were soon married, and after a brief stay in Kamloops, where they started their family, the Machams moved to the Quesnel area to farm.
Bob spent many years trucking in the logging industry in Quesnel and area. He made many friends and found personal fulfillment in this demanding field of work. In his extra hours he was a great farmhand for Linda, by putting up hay, servicing machinery, and helping her find many interesting ways to make their lives enjoyable.
In his free time, Bob enjoyed many outdoor activities like stock car racing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, fishing, camping and exploring with his many friends and family.
