It is with great sadness that the family of Briannen announce her sudden passing on December 24, 2008 at the age of 27. Bri will be lovingly remembered by soul-mate Matthew Stringer, daughters Mira (6) and Jenna (2), mother Moreen Hiebert, grandparents Doreen and Jack Carper, and in-laws Kim and Dennis Brown, Shannon Stringer, Kyle and Robert Roesler as well as uncle Wade (Karen), Tia (Shane), Bubby (Greg) and many more aunts, uncles cousins and friends.

Briannen was predeceased by her father Brian Hiebert and her step- father Gayland Johnston.

Bri was born is Surrey, B.C. and grew up in Quesnel, B.C. Bri and Matt moved to Okotoks in 2006, quickly outgrowing their first house and moving to an acreage outside Calgary. She loved caring for her family, their home, and the menagerie – horses, cats and dog.

More than anything Bri will be remembered as a wonderful person who made everyone around her feel special. Her great smile, her funny stories, and her loving nature will be missed. She was a loving mother who never got tired of crafts or stories with her girls. She was the family memory keeper, taking pictures, writing journals, saving notes and artwork and creating scrapbooks.

The loss of Briannen is profound and there will forever be a void in the hearts of those that knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Briannen’s Life was held on Tuesday, December 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Snodgrass Funeral Chapel Okotoks with reception to follow immediately following the chapel service.

A Trust fund is being established for Mira & Jenna Stringer at the Midnapore Scotiabank in Calgary.

Arrangements are in care of Snodgrass Funeral Homes (Okotoks) 403-938-3111.
