It is with deep sorrow that the family of Bud (Louie James) Hockett, announce his peaceful passing on November 24, 2006, at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital, after a long and valiant battle.
Bud was delivered by Dr. G.R. Baker in the Quesnel Hospital on June 30, 1938 and lived in Quesnel for nearly all of his sixty-eight years.
He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, his four adoring daughters Tanya (Keith) Thompson, Tracy (Robert) Bartsch, Taryn (Allen) Thomson, Tammy (Jim) Saunders, and his six beloved grandchildren Beverley, Matthew, Brett, Trevor, Glenn and Kyle, as well as his brother Gordon (JoAnn).
He was predeceased by his parents, Louie in 1997 and Bea in 2001.
At Buds request there will be no service. Donations may be made in Bud’s memory to a charity of donor’s choice.
