The family of Carole Brown announce with great sadness, her peaceful passing on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at N.R.G.H with her family at her side. She was a loving wife to Larry, cherished mother to Tim, Randy (Meika) and Kevin. Also a wonderful “Nanny” to Dylan, Jesse, Wyatt and Joshua. Brothers Colin, Harley, Greg, Doug and sister Pam Realff will miss their precious sister~in addition to all of their family members in Abbotsford and Quesnel.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, she moved with her parents and siblings from Prince Edwards Island to the Prince George area in 1957. Marrying Larry in 1966 they moved their young family to Nanaimo to start up an RV business and after many busy and successful years retired in 1994. She was absolutely dedicated to her family and enjoyed making a beautiful home for them, in addition to numerous hobbies and her love of baking (especially her “famous” huge cinnamon buns that were enjoyed by many!). Predeceased by son Tim Brown, August 2004 and parents Charles and Susan. No service by request. Donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer society or local SPCA Sands - Nanaimo
