Bob was born in Victoria, BC on April 8, 1941. He left Victoria shortly after graduation to take on some remote banking assignments which eventually led to him settling in Quesnel, BC after meeting his wife Sharon. Their union of almost 50 years was blessed by two daughters who would be blamed (by him) for the abundance of family members with four legs however despite his allergies most knew he was the one with the softest heart.
Bob had a talent for numbers which translated naturally into a career in accounting and in time his own practice. While this kept him busy during the day outside of work and between golf games at the Dragon Lake Golf Course you would find him doing projects at his mother-in-law Edith Bell's farm in Woodpecker, BC or at their family home.
Family always came first to him with distance only being an excuse for road trips to see his family living in the Lower Mainland and on Vancouver Island. He will be remembered as a gentlemen with a keen memory for details willing to take on any challenge especially if there was a how to book to guide him.
He was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Marguerite Clark (Turcotte), mother-in- law Edith Bell, and his older brother Bill Clark.
Bob is survived by his wife Sharon Clark, two daughters Janet & Angela Clark, three grandchildren (Brandon, Ewan, & Lucas), sisters Patricia Fenske and Anne (Arnie) Banfill and his younger brother Dan Clark.
During his time in Quesnel he touched many in the community through his work and volunteer efforts. Since his passing his family has taken comfort in the stories from friends, family and neighbours reminding them of all the ways he quietly supported them throughout the years.
At the request of Bob family will be having a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers if you'd like to make a donation in remembrance of Bob the family is asking that you make a donation to the local SPCA or a charity of your choice.
