Clive Frederick Applin-Flouch

Clive Frederick Applin-Flouch of Quesnel, B.C. passed away at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital on December 1, 2005.

A memorial service will be held in Squamish, B.C. at a later date.

Clive was born in London, England on June 17, 1921 and lived in England and France. He moved to Canada after WWII and lived in Montreal, Quebec where he met and married his love, Irene Marjorie Fewtrell on September 17, 1949. They moved to B.C. in the ‘50’s and settled in Quesnel in 1977, where they lived for 28 years.

Clive was the business manager of G.R. Baker Hospital and administrator of Squamish General Hospital.

Clive is survived by his daughters Barbara (Dennis) of Squamish, B.C., Susan (Harold) of Squamish, B.C., Kate (Ken) of Williams Lake, B.C., Eleanor (Garry) of Squamish, B.C., grandchildren Elise, Sara, Samantha, Angela, Nicole, Kirsty, Karl, Jason and great grandchildren Kaitlin, Alyssa and Seth, as well as family in England, Australia, USA and the ‘Okanagan’.

Clive was predeceased by his wife Marjorie Applin-Flouch on March 22, 1996.
