October 16, 1936 - March 25, 2021
On a beautiful spring day, Colleen Marie Sales (Fawcett) passed away with forever childhood sweetheart Gordon James Sales at her side.
Born in Williams Lake to Audrey and William she grew up in Quesnel with siblings Ethel, Patricia and William. Graduating from Quesnel High, selling treats from her mother's store, to nurses training at St Paul's with her great friends Diane Eltherington and Ann Williams, she ended her career at Crofton Manor.
She met Gordon as a child - fell in love and married in 1957.
Her children Mike, Joe, Alix and Jenni are incredibly grateful to have been with her in her last days.
For Colleen, everything was about family (nieces, nephews, in-laws,extended) friends (from every part of life) and a beautiful home.
Crazy in love with her grandchildren: Paul, Maddie, Patrick, Harriet, Colette, John, Farley, Gord and Joe. A perfect day was seeing them. Born with an exceptional eye, impeccable style, she did not know she was gorgeous, smart, athletic, fun and unwavering.
A master gardener, she also loved skiing, hockey, horses, art, family and friends.
Looking forward to celebrating Colleen's life with friends and family when it is safe. We love you all and are grateful for your support and thoughts.
