It is with broken hearts that the family of Daniel George Lucas announces his passing on July 3, 2021 at the age of 86.
Daniel was born on March 20, 1935 in Lloydminster, SK. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest Albert and Bernice Ruby. He is survived by his wife Julie of 36 years, son Arthur (Jasmine) and grandchildren Ezra and Zahra.
Also survived by his siblings Bert and Neil, daughters of first marriage, Linda, Deana and Lori, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He lived in Quesnel, BC for 36 years and moved to Edmonton on October 19, 2020.
He drove all his life. He owned a logging truck, Peterbilt transport, and two airplanes. He also drove a tour bus, Gold Pan City Stage Lines and retired at the age of 73.
Daniel Lucas was an avid fan of Arlington's airshow and attended the show for decades.
He was truly a well respected man, very loving to his family and friends and often called him a jack of all trades. He will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will be held on July 30, 2021 at 9 am at Westlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 16310 Stony Plain Rd., Edmonton, AB.
