It is with great sadness that the family of Dave Barrett announce his sudden passing on Saturday September 3, 2016.
Dave is predeceased by his father Fred, mother Lily and sister Penny. Dave will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 30 years, Karen, his children Shannon (Rob) and Zach (Caity), his sisters, Susan and Deba, his grandchildren Levi, Josh and Nora and his many other family members and friends.
Dave was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who loved those dearest to him. He was a true family man who valued hard work, honesty and loyalty and lived by these qualities daily. Dave had a great sense of humour and loved to joke and laugh. He will be dearly missed by those with whom he shared his love of golf, fishing and sports.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday,
September 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm at
Clayton’s Funeral Home - 582 Front St, Quesnel, BC.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
