June 2, 1940 - September 22, 2018
Delbert "Del" Boesem was born June 2, 1940 on a farm in Fisher Branch, MB and came to BC in the early 1960s, settling in the Quesnel area where he worked for Chadsey Equipment and others before founding Cariboo Tractor Parts in the 1970s.
He was instrumental in founding the Quesnel & District Antique Machinery Park and became known locally for his woodwork.
Taken by cancer Sept. 22, 2018, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Verna, two sons Rob (Jen) & Ken (Clint), and grandson Zack (Monica). He will also be missed by many extended family, friends & associates.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Quesnel & District Antique Machinery Park in Del's name would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life for Del Boesem will take place, June 2, 2019 1 pm - 4 pm at the Quesnel & District Antique Machinery Park, 3055 Dragon Lake Rd. in Quesnel. Del left us on September 22, 2018.
