Donald Edward Earle

Donald Edward Earle, RCN was born on May 6, 1932 and passed away on October 12, 2005.

He was the youngest of seven children born to Will and Maude Earle. Brother to Edna, Len, Irene, Alan, Mel and Betty.

Don served 10 years (1950-1960) in the Navy, on the HMCS Athabascan. Don was a founding member of the Westbank Royal Canadian Legion Br. 288. He was also on the committee that formed the Korea Veterans Unit #50 in Kelowna in 1988.

A memorial service was held on Friday, Oct. 14, 2005 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #94 in Quesnel, B.C. with Reverend Trev Whiting officiating.

Interment will be held at the Fraser Cemetery, New Westminster, on November 22nd at 2:00 p.m. A tea will follow.

Don is survived by his wife of 36 years, Florence, son Bill (Krystal) Earle, grandchildren Matthew and Dylan, stepsons Dave (Karen), Rick (Peggy), Eric (Jane), Howard (Maria) Steinson, grandchildren Erica, Monica, Andrea, Dustin, Blake and Angelica and 8 great-grandchildren.
