It is with great sadness the family of Dorothy Elsie announces her passing on February 22, 2010 at Dunrovin Park Lodge. Dorothy was born in North Bay, Ontario and grew up in London, Ontario where she met and married Harold Elsie. After the birth of their daughter Sharron, they moved west to BC finally settling in Vancouver. Harry passed away in 1980 and Dorothy moved to Quesnel to be near her “Dolly” (daughter Sharron) and her family. She was a long time resident of Fraser Village where she made many wonderful friends over the years. She is survived by her only daughter Sharron and son-in-law Gene Knutson, Granddaughter Michelle (Brett) MacPherson, Grandson Jason (Melanie) Knutson and her four Great Grandsons Zach, Jared, Keegan and Landon as well as her sisters Ruby and Ina. She is predeceased by her parents, sisters Margaret and Helen and her brother Carl. Dorothy will be forever missed and always remembered for her generosity, kindness and great sense of humour. Sharron and family would like to say a special thank you to Randi and heidi at Dunrovin Lodge for taking such good care of our Mom and Granny.
