Edie passed away at G.R. Baker Hospital in Quesnel, BC from a sudden stroke with her husband Ken and son Robert by her side.
Edie was born in Langley, B.C. She later lived in Edmonton, Alberta for 25 years and recently moved to Quesnel to be near her son.
Edith was predeceased by her mother Louisa Mary, father William Edwin and brother Eddie.
She is survived by her husband Ken, son Robert and daughter Kathy (Henry), granddaughters Tessa Millan (Skip), Katrina and Tricia Mydske and great granddaughter Sienna, brothers Bill and Bud (Lillian) Stanbury, sister Mary Oster (Al), sister-in-law Marj Butchard and brother-in-law Gary Butchard (Sherri), numerous nieces and nephews, cousins Bett Brown and Margaret Henderson, Al (Val) Dredge and very close friends Emma and Leon Lemoine as well as numerous relatives in eastern Canada, the USA and England.
Edie’s cremains will be laid to rest at a graveside service in Murrayville Cemetery, Langley, B.C. on April 25, 2008 at 1:00 p.m.
