The family of Edna Chesley wishes to announce her passing on May 14 2010 at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital. Edna is survived by her Husband Ken Chesley, Children Carol (Dave), Kay (Bridget) and Craig - Grandchildren Lacey (Bill) , Sara (Mike), Tiffany, Chad, Jayson. Great Grandchildren Brady, Peyton and Gavin; sister -in - law June Wall. Edna was pre-deceased by her parents, Johanes and Annie Anderson, brother Edward Wall and sister Nancy Wall.
Edna was born in Barthel Saskatchewan, Dec 1 1935, she came to Quesnel in her late teens and it is here that she met Ken Chesley her husband of 54 years. She was a vibrant, hardworking, self assured women who knew her mind. Her favourite time of the week were weekends, time to camp, fish, hunt, play ball, ride horses, go sledding and generally have a great time with family and friends. Edna loved her family and friends and created a wonderful home filled with laughter and love. Edna was an accomplished softball pitcher, avid bowler, skier, horse trainer, gardener and cook.
Edna will be greatly missed by her loving husband Ken, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all of her family and friends.
May we, with aching, yet grateful hearts be filled with Divine Grace, and comforted in God’s presence as we give thanks to her life that has touched and enriched our own.
