We, the family of Frank Izzard of Quesnel, BC regret to announce his passing on December 27, 2011.

Frank was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved spending time outdoors. He was always willing to share his stories and tall tales of his many adventures with anyone who would listen. Frank could always be counted on to lend a helping hand and was often able to get a job done when nobody else could.

Frank was born in Mulvihill, Manitoba on August 30, 1937 to parents Arthur George and Abelone Izzard.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Mavis (nee Orme) and their children Donna, Kandice, Rick (wife Shannon); grandchildren Kyla, Julie-Ann, Kurtis and Janelle; great grandchildren Aleaha, Anya and James; his brother William Izzard, sisters Winnifred Rousseau, Irene Huntley, Viola Plumridge, and Ethel (husband Howard) Raper. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Abelone Izzard and brother Richard Izzard.

At Frank’s request, no service will be held and cremation entrusted with Clayton’s Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Quesnel Division of the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his name.
