Eileen Jean Hirschfield (nee Yorston) passed away peacefully after a short struggle with cancer on June 13, 2008, in the presence of her children in Nanaimo.
‘Binky’, twin of Katie Enemark, was born on the Australian Ranch in 1924.
She and her husband, Bob, raised their three children, Rob (Colleen), Trudy (Dave) and Margo (Noel) in Vancouver and then moved to the Cariboo for their retirement years.
Binky was predeceased by her husband Bob in 1984, and by her brothers; Jack (Kath), Don (Carrile) and Keith Yorston.
She is survived by her sisters Margo and Katie (Johnny).
Her love, joy and passion was cherished by all her family, her children, their spouses, twelve grandchildren and her many friends.
