In loving memory ~
It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Eileen Marlys Whitford nee Dahl on October 4, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Eileen was born in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan April 18, 1936, and moved to the lower mainland and eventually settled in Quesnel in 1949. Eileen met and married her sweetheart, Howard, in May 1953 and raised their three children Judy, Harlen and Don in Quesnel. Eileen loved bowling, sewing with Judy, and watching her boy's play hockey. Eileen was a valued volunteer with the Canadian Royal Purple - Quesnel Lodge for over twenty-five years, accepting the title of Supreme Honoured Royal Lady on more than one occasion. After the children grew up, Eileen developed a passion for fishing and camping with Howard, making special memories at Quesnel Lake, Lac la Hache, and the Chilcotin. She was an active resident playing scrabble, cards, and sports with her many new friends.
