We sadly announce the passing of Elizabeth Bishop on January 15, 2019, in Cherington Place Nursing Home in Surrey, B.C. Elizabeth was 94 years of age. She was born on November 28th, 1924 to Anton and Barbara Prychun in Brokenhead, Manitoba.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband George Bishop, four brothers and five sisters, and her daughter, Lana.
She is survived by two sisters, Nadia Kernaghan of Edmonton, Alberta and Evelyn Krebbs of Selkirk, Manitoba; one brother, John Prychun of Abbotsford, B.C., one son, Les Bishop of Quesnel, and one daughter, Cindy Morosao (Dale) of Surrey; two grandsons, Mark (Megan) and Matthew (Chelsey) and 4 great-grandchildren of Quesnel B.C.; grandson, Nathan Morneau (Melanie) of Langley B.C., and granddaughter, Sasha Taylor (Brett), and great-grandchild, of Elkford, B.C.
A service was held in January, in Surrey, and a short inurnment service will be held at the site of her daughter's grave in Quesnel Municipal Cemetery on Friday, May 10, at 9:30 am. There will be no formal reception, but a family gathering will be held later in the day, at a place to be determined.
