Elizabeth Lila Mildred Thideman passed away on July 26, 2008 at her home in Quesnel, B.C.
A celebration of life was held on July 31, 2008 at the home of Jim and Ellen Worobetz in Quesnel.
Elizabeth was born in Kitchen, Sask. on July 31, 1932. She received her schooling in Sask., but got polio at the age of 16 years, so was unable to finish her schooling. Her time was spent learning to walk again.
She met Raymond Thideman, the love of her life, and they married on July 3, 1956 in Quesnel, B.C. and had one daughter, Janet.
She was very dedicated to her family. The coffee and tea were always on. She loved to share her stories over a cup of tea.
Elizabeth worked at Stedmans, the bakery and went to work at Weldwood where she worked until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter Janet, granddaughters Jolene (Jeff King), Kaylynn (Ryan Leblanc), Chantel (Wayne Lindstrom), great granddaughters Avrey King and Jennifer Ouellette Lindstrom, sisters; Margaret Johnson, Isabell Duguid, brother; Calvin Nelson, Dennis and Laurie Thideman as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 1985, brothers, Ernie and Arthur and sister Helen.
