Elsie passed peacefully at home under the loving care of her family, following a brief illness.
A Celebration of Life Tea will be held at 1 pm on Monday July 9th, 2018 at the Baker Creek Community Hall. The hall is located next to the school house where she came to teach in 1938.
Everyone is invited to bring their afghans if Elsie made one for you, and to share their stories and memories. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
