Born in south Saskatchewan, Ernie was one of 5 children and was a farmer till moving to BC and becoming a plumber. Ernie died peacefully in his sleep on 27 January 2020 at Dunrovin Lodge in Quesnel. He is predeceased by Sophie his wife of 75 years. He is survived by his sister Lily, his children Rosemarie (John), Ron (Susan), Betty (Don) and Annette (Ross), 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Obanye and the many fine caregivers at Dunrovin and Maeford. They made his final years as comfortable as possible. A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Quesnel on March 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
