at 1:30 p.m.

Born in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, Sept. 11, 1942, Ernst loved playing pranks with his childhood friend Ernest Suter. Ernst moved to Canada in his early 20s and married his wife Patricia in Toronto, March 21, 1970. The family has lived in the Quesnel area for almost 40 years where Ernst was an industrial electrician at Tolko Industries. He helped many people and friends. He always gave his spare time to help anyone in need.

Ernst was one of the hardest working men around. He held a high level of respect in his industrial community. As he had his loving family at home, Ernst felt the same with those he worked with.

He was not only a father to his daughter, but took on the male role to his grandchildren as well.

Ernst always stood up for what he believed in and went the extra mile for those in need. He was taken too soon and never had the chance to enjoy his retirement.

It is requested that in his name, others take the time to protect themselves against asbestos while renovating and/or working in older buildings.

Ernst is lovingly remembered by his wife Patricia, his sister Alice and family, brother Hans and family, daughter Stephanie, grandsons Brendan, Tristan, Levi and granddaughter Rebecca.

Donations in Ernst’s memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society’s Kordyban Lodge in Prince George.

Ernst will be greatly missed and loved by many.
