Eugene Edward (Geno) Morgenthaler

On Friday October 19th, Mr. Eugene Edward “Geno” Morgenthaler of Oliver, formerly of Quesnel, passed away suddenly as a result of a workplace accident at the age of 47 years.

An open visitation time for the late Geno Morgenthaler will be held at the Graham Funeral Chapel on Friday October 26th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family including his parents Jake and Joyce; his siblings including Elaine (Don) of Port Orchard, WA, Karen (Ray) of Prince George, BC, David of Quesnel, BC and Ian of Oliver; aunt and uncle Margaret and Gordon of Oliver as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Geno was born on October 8, 1960 in Hazelton, BC and moved to Quesnel in 1961 where he received his formal schooling and started in the construction and forestry fields.

In 2005 he moved to Oliver to be closer to and to assist his parents. He was very close with and loved his family dearly. Geno worked enough to play. This included tinkering with and working on his old trucks.

An urn interment and committal will take place at a later date at Hillside Cemetery in Kamloops.
