Eugene Leo Yager passed away on April 6, 2011 in Quesnel, BC. Those left to treasure his many loving memories are his siblings: Irene Kopetski, Elmer Yager, Evelyn Morgenstern, Coletta Telford, sisters and brothers in-law and too many nephews and nieces to count. Eugene was pre-deceased by his father Frank, mother Mary, brother Clarence, sister Annabelle, brother Germon, sister Estalene and brother Vincent.

Eugene was born March 14, 1933 in Makwa, Saskatchewan and was the sixth of ten children of Frank and Mary Yager. Eugene left the family home in Saskatchewan to work in Alberta for two years before moving to BC in 1950 and working in the Forest Industry. Eugene worked as a Heavy Duty Mechanic and was well respected at Quesnel Forest Products for 23 years, before retiring in 1985. He dedicated a lot of his time umpiring several baseball leagues and was nominated for Citizen of the Year in the Quesnel area. Since retirement, Eugene has spent most of his time fishing and camping.

The family appreciates your continued prayers and support and in lieu of flowers, family and friends may make donations to the Quesnel & District Palliative Care Association at P.O.
