Evelyn Graham was born July 17, 1929 and passed away on January 30, 2007 at the age of 77. She was wife and partner to Russell for 56 1/2 years and mother to son Gordon (Dianne), daughters Patty (Don), Dianne, Margie (Ken), Debi (Dave), Andrea (James). Evelyn also had 12 grand children and 4 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her mother, father and nine of her brothers and sisters.
She loved to play cards and taught all the grandchildren and great grandchildren how to play. She was a grand seamstress and loved to knit and crochet. She had a love of macrame and some of her items were 8’ in length and were sold to outlets as far away as Jasper and Banff, Alberta. She was a master of Texas Hold-Em and there were many late nights at the cabin at Cuison Lake as she slowly but surely won all the chips.
Eve and Russ owned and operated Graham’s Diamond View Service at Alexandria for 30 years with the help of family and friends. They were both very community involved and enjoyed the Alexandria dances, ball games and other community outings.
We will all miss her forever and may she rest without pain.
A Celebration of Life for Evelyn will be held at her home at Alexandria on Saturday, May 19, 2007 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
All friends are welcome.
