Feighin Francis (Frank) McCormack

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Feighin Francis (Frank) McCormack, who passed away peacefully May 25th, 2022.
Frank as most knew him, was the kindest of men, always with a smile and possibly a joke!
Frank was predeceased by his first wife Helen , his mother and father and all his siblings.He is survived by his partner of 30 years Pat MacNeil, her children. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Frank was born in 1933 in Mulingar Ireland and travelled over to Canada by himself at the young age of 24! From there he carved out an adventurous life, finally settling and building a life in Quesnel , BC.
Frank owned the Brownies Chicken before he had a long career at Weldwood which he eventually retired from in 1993. During his time in Quesnel he was an active member of the Lions club. Frank had a stroke in 1999 that took away a lot of his mobility, but didn't take away his spirit!
He spent the last years of his life in Gemstone Care Center where he was a staff favourite! Always in good spirits with a laugh or a Yahoo!!!
We will be having a graveside service for family and friends on September 24@1pm in the Quesnel Cemetery, Tranquillity gardens.
