Frances Irene Taylor passed away peacefully on May 7, 2004 at her home near 10 Mile Lake.
Fran was born in Sandwick, British Columbia on October 30, 1930 to parents Jim and Irene Parkin.
She remained on Vancouver Island until she met and married Bob Taylor in 1949. They moved to Wilkie, Sask., then on to the Red Deer area, where they lived and raised their family.
Their last move was to the Quesnel area in 1967.
Fran enjoyed square dancing for a while and was an active bowler for many years. She enjoyed a simple life, being at home and looking after her gardens.
Fran is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bob Taylor, one son Larry (Judy) Taylor, one daughter Louise (Herb) Felker, six grandchildren Joshua, Andrea and Suzanne Taylor and Carly, Loni and Amanda Felker, as well as three great granddaughters, Dakota, Taylor and Paige.
